Frequently Asked Questions

I don't post my prices online because I want to speak with you to see what your photography needs are. I have different kinds of sessions with different licenses and use permissions so it's better that we talk first so that you have the correct information. Once we figure out what you need, I will send your options for those packages. 

Unfortunately, I am not able to book sessions for a single image.  Every session requires me at least  an hour of prep time, travel and loading/unloading equipment. More than likely, it would take multiple shots to get your one image. After that your image would have to be edited. With everything it would involve, it doesn't make business sense to schedule for just one image.  I do however, have smaller packages available depending on what you need the photo for. 

My sessions are mostly on-location depending on the look the client is looking for. I will work with you to pick the location such as a desert location, urban setting, or a park. Studio set-ups are available for headshots. 

I am available for sessions outside of the valley. Industry standard travel rates will apply depending on the distance and duration. 

These are digital files to your images that give you the ability to upload, print and publish photos.  Permissions for usage of these files depends on the package that is purchased.

When you download the images, I ask that the photos are NOT edited in any way including recoloring or adding filters. My photos being shared the way I edited them helps me ensure the consistency of my brand and showcases my style of work. 

This really depends on what type of session you are booking. You will receive an email before your session with suggestions on what to wear. Most importantly, be yourself. If you aren't a "dressy" type of person, don't feel pressured to have to dress up for your session. If you like dressing up, by all means, come in formal attire. 

As for what not to wear, don't wear neon color tops such as hot pink, neon green, or fluorescent yellow because they tend to cast the color back onto your skin. No matter what you wear, make sure your outfit is clean and ironed/steamed. Wrinkles and stains will make any outfit you wear look bad.

All packages come with basic retouching. This include reducing fine lines, skin texture and blemish correction, and removing flyaway hairs. I don't normally do any type of body modification on images because you look great just they way you are but will do so upon request for an additional fee in some cases. 

I do offer payment plans for sessions over $500.  These sessions will be broken down into a deposit to secure your session, half of the balance at the time of your session and the rest at time of delivery. 

For portraits & brand sessions,  I am usually able to send your proofs within 4 business days after your session. Once you make your selections, it can take up to 14 days to edit the photos. 

For events, it can take up to 30 days for the finals images because there are so many images to edit and go through but I try my best to finish them sooner than that.
